SUMMARY:Setting Up Brainspotting with the Adoption Constellation
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nThis Approved Brainspotting Specialty Workshop by Approved Brainspotting Trainer Brooke Randolph is for Brainspotting therapists who have completed Phase 1. (Phase 2 is strongly recommended.)\n\nThis workshop will include:\n\nadoption competency information,\nworking with all members of the adoption constellation & those impacted by foster care,\nworking with children, adults, & families,\nspecial populations within the adoption population,\nattachment,\nracism in adoption & foster care,\nconceptualization, diagnosis, goals, and modalities for adoption therapy\nMultidimensional frame setting for Brainspotting,\nmultiple techniques for setting up Brainspotting  with the Adoption Constellation,\nresearch, history, and more\n\n \nWorkshop Objectives: \n\nList three special populations with a higher percentage of adoption constellation members\nDescribe the neurological impact of early parental separation\nDefine Late Discovery Adoptee (LDA)\nBe able to instruct parents on how to talk about adoption with children\nList key components of Adoption Therapy\nDefine Multidimensional frame setting\nUtilize two new Brainspotting techniques\n\nDiscounts are available for provisionally licensed professionals, students, as well as an access & inclusion rate. We want everyone who wants to be there to be able to be. The adoption constellation deserves access to more therapists with more knowledge and understanding.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
