MBI Meeting Guidelines for Brainspotting Peer Support Groups

(a) Those interested in leading a Free BSP Peer Support group will contact MBI President

(b) Leaders of Peer Support Groups shall be certified in BSP.

(c) If there are more than one BSP support group(s) in a community the leaders will agree to negotiate and coordinate schedules.

(d) Leaders will agree to follow Peer Support schedule which includes: (e) 3 Hour meetings:

– 1 ½ hour – Case Conceptualization, Updates, BSP communications,

– (Refer for Consultation as needed, per complexity)
– Second 1 ½ hour – Breaking into Dyads

(f) Leaders agree to contact MBI Board with peer support group schedules and schedule changes promptly to add to calendar.

(g) If Peer Support Leader decides to no longer run meetings, it is requested that a 2-month notice be given.

(h) Anyone from the community is welcome to attend.
