Melissa Pasquinelli
Biographical Info Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She obtained her Bachelors in psychology from Aurora University and her Master’s Degree in community counseling from National Louis University. Melissa has experience with children, adolescents and adults. Her clinical work includes crisis intervention and therapy services with in community agencies, government social services, hospitals, private practice, police stations, and schools. She creates a safe and comfortable space for her clients by showing warmth, compassion and humor. As a team, Melissa and her clients will work on ways to achieve individual goals and cope effectively. Melissa has experience working with those who suffer from anxiety, depression, divorce, chronic pain, grief, LGBTQ, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, self harm, and trauma. She is a trained Brainspotting Clinician since 2016 and is in the process of getting her certification. Brainspotting is an innovative technique that is a mind/body treatment modality that helps navigate clients through a safe and effective healing process.
