Harry James Nozicka

I am the founder of the Nozicka Center for Hypnosis and Psychotherapy located in Highland Park, Il. I am the first certified Brainspotting Therapist in Illinois and started the original Chicagoland Brainspotting Professional Peer Group designed to support those of us using this amazing therapy. I have been in private practice for over 40 years and, have a well established identity in the North Shore community, surrounding suburbs, as well as the Chicago vicinity. Our practice provides services to high school age clients through issues of aging. Certified in a variety of frameworks, my fundamental philosophy clinically and personally, is very steeped in Buddhist Psychology which I have studied for over 30 years. Holding the “frame” for clients to allow for processing of emotional issues calls on the ability to stay present, and mindfulness practice in Buddhism has been a skill I am uniquely qualified to bring to this work.
