I’m bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) and bi-cultural and enjoy working with folks of all backgrounds, but am especially passionate about working with folks from the Latino/x community. I always think of my clients as multi-faceted, keeping in mind their culture, identity, immigration history, trauma, attachment, family history, development, and relationship patterns.
I have a warm interpersonal style, with a balance of humor and direct feedback. I believe that if you are looking to psychotherapy as a mode to improve something in your life, that treatment must be goal oriented. We collaborate on the “what” needs improving and “how” we’ll know that things are better.
